Become a Catholic

Become a Catholic

The initiation journey is for adults of any age and children from ages 7 to 17, who:

  • Are not baptized and wish to enter the Catholic Church.
  • Have been baptized in another faith tradition and wish to enter the Catholic Church (may also include some who were baptized Catholic and would like to complete their sacraments).

Those beginning the process will start with informal sessions, leading to a more structured preparation for full initiation into the Catholic Church. Adult groups meet weekly on Thursdays at 6:00pm in the Old Chapel.

Watch "Convinced: Why Would Anyone Become Catholic?"  See why intelligent, successful people give up careers, alienate friends, and cause havoc in their families...to become Catholic? As he was considering his own move into the Church, Donald Johnson traveled around the country to get the story for himself, from some of today's most interesting and articulate Catholic voices.
