CRS Rice Bowl

What is CRS Rice Bowl?

CRS Rice Bowl is Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten faith-inaction program. It’s an opportunity for us to come together as a community and support our sisters and brothers around the world—especially people who are hungry, lack proper nutrition and are most affected by climate change. This year, through CRS Rice Bowl, we will encounter communities in Honduras, the Philippines and Kenya. We’ll learn about the principles of Catholic social teaching—and ways we can put them into action. Furthermore, participating in CRS Rice Bowl will help us engage daily with the spiritual pillars of Lent: prayer, fasting and almsgiving. St. Ann's is excited to take this journey as a community, and to connect our prayer and reflections to our global community of faith.
